From the drive division, flexible expandable conveyor can be divided into of gravity type and motorized type. A set of full finished flexible conveyor is mainly composed of expansion scissor, support leg with castor, tie-rod, and handle. There is gravity roller or skate wheel for gravity type, different to gravity type, there are driven roller (grooved driven roller, poly-v pulley driven roller or timing pulley driven roller), driven belt, micro motor and electronic control for motorized type.

Normally every unit has 8 pieces of roller or 8 groups of skate wheel, the collapsed length is about 450mm and the expanded length is about 1200mm of every unit. For example, if there is a conveyor is composed by 5 unit, the conveyor collapsed length is 2250mm and the expanded length is 6000mm. It means that users could choose different unit quantities to realize the required length. Furthermore, there is hooks on every set of flexible expandable conveyor, several sets can be connected by hooks for long distance conveying.
