Unlike traditional conveyor systems where an external motor drives the rollers via belts or chains, a motor drive roller has a built-in motor, making the system more compact, efficient, and easier to maintain.
To address the growing demand for automation and customized conveying, industries from food processing and pharmaceuticals to electronics and logistics (encompassing airports, postal services, and distribution centers) widely utilize Motor Driven Roller (MDR). The DGBL60A series motor drive roller offers easy speed adjustment and high performance, making it suitable for heavy, medium, and light load applications.
It features a built-in high-efficiency brushless gear reduction motor that delivers strong power and smooth operation. With the matching controller, precise speed control is achieved for more convenient use.
Multiple output torque options are available—standard power, high power, and high torque—to meet various load requirements.
The roller operates on safe DC voltages of 24V or 48V.
Speed ranges from 1.04 m/min to 144 m/min, with an adjustable range of 8.7% to 100%.
Compatible with multiple intelligent controllers, it supports I/O control and ZPA functions, and offers communication interfaces such as RS485, Profinet, Ethernet, CC-Link, and Modbus TCP.
Its simple installation enables easy integration for intelligent control systems.

★Poly-v :
① SUS304 pulley, alloy steel pulley and polymer pulley are optional, 9 grooves for PJ belt.
② The load capacity of the roller depends on the transmission arrangement and the type of poly-v belt. When there are fewer driven rollers or when a 3PJ or even a 4PJ poly-v belt is used, the load capacity is high; conversely, it is low.
③ The max. load capacity can reach 200kg. If the load exceeds 100kg, an alloy pulley needs to be selected. Note: OD50 default spring loaded shaft, without waterproof function.
★Toothed Belt:
① Toothed belts can effectively prevent slipping. The above figure shows a molded nylon toothed belt pulley, with 2 grooves, T5 type with 26 teeth. Special requirements can be customized for the specifications. The materials available include aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and engineer plastic pulleys.
② The load capacity of the roller is determined by the transmission arrangement and the type of toothed belt. Generally, the load capacity for a conveying zone can reach up to 100 kg.
★Grooved:
① Grooved rollers are connected by PU O-ring belt, so it is very quite and suitable for light conveying application.
② The torque decays rapidly. A single motor dirve roller can only drive 7-8 passive rollers. In a single conveying unit, the weight of a single piece of goods should not exceed 35kg.
Note: When the end shaft of the grooved roller is spring loaded type, please contact our company for the grooved dimensions.
★O-ring belt pulley:
① The O-ring belt pulley produced by the mold are connected by PU O-ring belt, so it is very quite and suitable for light conveying application.

★Sprocket:
① Be suitable for heavy conveying, general the sprocket model number is 08B14T, single-row or double-row. Carbon steel or stainless steel 304 are optional.
② The torque attenuation is significant. To achieve the best transmission performance, the double-row drive should be arranged in the middle section of the conveyor.
★Tapered Sleeve:
① The plastic tapered sleeve has a cone angle of 3.6 degrees and is suitable for curved transportation. It can be composed of multiple sections of conical plastic sleeves to form a cone shape.
② Use the dedicated tapered motor drive roller mounting bracket. It is not recommended to use external threads for installation.
