Motor Drive Roller

Motor Drive Roller (MDR) is a self-powered roller by integrating the motor, gear reduction box and sensor and reasonably installing it into steel tube.


Thus the conveyor system does not consider motor, chain, intermediate shaft or other auxiliary driving elements; No need for bulky gear reduction box. Just install the motor drive roller on the conveyor rack and connect the cable to the power supply, and the job is done. The conveyor system is cleaner, denser, beautiful, safe and reliable.


Motor drive roller is widely applied in food processing, medical production, electronic assembly, airport logistics, postal services, distribution and various industries. It meets diversified and automatic needs of different industries.


Presently we mainly produce DC/AC gear motor drive roller and DC direct drive motor roller. In addition, we also produce oil-cooled motor drive roller for belt conveyor and special motor drive roller for security inspection machine and sorting machine.

  • Easy Maintenance: The modular design allows for very quick replacement of individual motorized rollers. In case of failure, typically only a complete unit swap is needed, minimizing on-site repair time and keeping maintenance costs relatively controllable.

  • Direct Drive: The roller is directly connected to the motor, offering high transmission efficiency, fast response, and smooth start/stop.

  • Facilitates Advanced Control Integration: Can be easily paired with frequency inverters for soft starts and stepless speed control, and can integrate encoders for speed feedback and precise positioning. It is an ideal choice for building zero-pressure accumulation conveyor lines and synchronized control systems.

6. Flexible System Design, Unrestricted Layout

  • Distributed Drive: Each conveyor section or drive point can use an independent motorized roller, facilitating complex conveying logic (e.g., segment start/stop, accumulation) and freeing system layout from the constraints of a central drive location.
