Gravity Roller: Rely on manpower or gravity to move pallets, typically used for inclined or declined conveyors.
Powered Roller: Motorized roller is welded with a sprocket and connected to the gear motor by a chain.
Functional Characteristics of Pallet Handling Conveyor Roller
High reliability: precision ball bearing is secured in the steel pressed bearing shell to form the conveyor roller bearing assembly, which is tight, strong and durable. Able to withstand greater axial force than a plastic bearing unit.
Broad range of working temperature: steel bearing assembly makes the conveyor roller for use in a very broad temperature range from −30 to +80 °C (eg. oven or cold storage).
High load capacity: steel sprocket is permanently welded to steel tube of the conveyor roller, it can transmit greater torque. Precision ball bearings are fixed firmly into steel bearing housings for optimal endurance and to fulfill the requirements of the transportation of heavy load pallets.
